Lighting Plan – ‘New Traditional’

Hey friends, happy Friday!

I am very excited to continue on this monthly segment of Lighting Plans with you.

As I described last month, Lighting has somehow become somewhat of an after-thought, and I’m working to change that!

Defining ‘New Traditional’

For me the “New” Traditional is exactly what you’d expect — Traditional; classic styles and silhouettes only UPDATED!

There isn’t really another finish that’s more popular right now than a Brushed Gold finish (in my opinion). While yes it’s technically ‘trendy’, it’s also very classic and timeless when done correctly!

My design-take is a little bit modern, a little bit glam but (I feel) ultra chic. I love how CC & Mike used a similar style in their White Kitchen with hardwood floors. DROOLING!

I’ve had some questions about the #ModernFarmhouse lighting style, so I plan to continue the Lighting Plan in this direction for July.
