There aren’t a lot of surprises in life, so choosing to wait to find out the sex of your babe is such a special, intimate decision. Plus, who says a gender neutral nursery can’t be just as cute? No one!
Because gone are the days when a nursery and it’s accessories were simply “pink” or “blue”. Nurseries are so much more refined as of late.
I designed nurseries + children’s spaces almost exclusively from 2013 to 2016, and some of the most beautiful spaces I designed were for parents that planned to wait to find out the sex of their little one; or KNEW the sex, and opted for a more tranquil colour story anyway.

A light and bright palette ensures the room is a place of calm, and connection. It may also reflect a similar design style to the home that surrounds it.
Below I have included links to some of my favourite timeless, and neutral, nursery + newborn staples.
