Happy Autumn, friends!
In Ontario the air has been just a litttttle cooler for the last week or so, and it is beginning to feel more like Fall.
Traditionally, Fall is when we usher in many of the holiday traditions and gatherings that we’ve looked forward to all year. Gatherings with friends and family at events like Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving and Christmas, and for our family – LOTS of birthdays are also on the calendar!
Fresh for Fall, Williams-Sonoma has posted their newest simmer pot recipe. A simmer pot is basically a warm, stovetop potpourri which lasts a few hours made up of fresh, potent ingredients in the Kitchen.
WS’s recipe features apple slices, apple cider, vanilla, peppercorns and mulling spices. After putting this pot on the stove, your home will be full of the cozy aromas of Autumn!
